Found in 1927 by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston, Regis offers undergraduate, graduate and professional studies options and is a leader in nursing and health sciences education and known for its close-knit, supportive community and a commitment to social justice and service. Our professors take a values-based approach to teaching that focuses on a student-centered experience. We’re just outside the great city of Boston, the nation’s ultimate college town. Boston is home to the Red Sox, world-class cultural attractions, and some of the finest research and medical facilities anywhere. Regis’ motto Via Veritas Vita, visible on our shield, translates to “the way and the truth and the life”, reflecting a long tradition of empowering students to seek knowledge in order to pursue meaningful life experiences that contribute to our global community.

Regis Students Participate in Service Immersion Program in Los Angeles

Service immersion trips are a foundation of Regis' mission, culture, and community. Regis students spent the 2023 spring break on a service immersion trip to Los Angeles. On this trip, Regis students spent time in the Dolores Mission Parish in the neighborhood of Boyle Heights, right outside of downtown Los Angeles. The students worked with Homeboy Industries, a nationally acclaimed gang-intervention program.

Regis Students Participate in Service Immersion Program in the Dominican Republic

Service immersion trips are a foundation of Regis' mission, culture, and community. Regis students spent the 2023 spring break on a service immersion trip to the Dominican Republic. On this trip, students volunteered at Mustard Seed Community Hogar Immanuel, located near Puerto Plata, a nonprofit that provides life-long residential care to children with disabilities.
